Welcome at "De Kouterhoeve"

De Kouterhoeve is part of a unique twin farm, built just after World War I. This was done in the context of the major Reconstruction in the region by architect Ernest Apers. The farm is architecturally protected and belongs to the architectural heritage. The building where the guest rooms are located has therefore been restored to its original state with the greatest care. The accommodation is in a very quiet location, between the meadows and fields and yet within walking distance of the cosy center of Moorslede. Tyne Cot Cemetery, Passchendaele Memorial Museum, Canadian Memorial, Hill 62, .... are a stone's throw from De Kouterhoeve. Ypres, with In Flanders Fields museum and the Meensenpoort, to list just a few sights, is 13 km and Roeselare with Rumbeke Castle and the Rodenbach brewery, as one of the possible trips, only 8 km.

Business people will also appreciate De Kouterhoeve. Based on the own experience of business travel, the interior and the concept are completely focused on making the business traveler and traveler experience a comfortable and unforgettable stay. De Kouterhoeve offers you the luxury of a hotel, the personality of a B&B, the space of a holiday home and the facilities of home! But above all we offer the silence and the tranquility to escape from the crowds.

If a swallow nestles under the roof of a house, it would bring happiness to the residents and ward off lightning and disaster. The Kouterhoeve logo also refers to the large colony of swallows that spend the summer with us every year. The swallows have their nest here temporarily and then leave, just like our guests.
